It's Friday. It's time to take a look back at the week of interesting links I discovered around the web.
- It's Apple rumor season. iMore covers the iPad Mini 4 which is said to feature a thinner frame and include iPad Air 2 internals.
- Sticking on the topic of Apple rumors. Buzzfeed reports Apple will debut a new Apple TV in September which will include its own App Store and a slimmer chassis.
- In support of Ten Bands One Cause, Run the Jewels, among others will be issuing limited edition pink vinyl versions of their albums on September 29th. Rolling Stone has the story with the list of artists involved.
- Ice Cube confirmed this week that a "Straight Outta Compton" inspired album from Dr. Dre is on the way soon. It's not Detox but it should provide some quality new Dre tracks. Okayplayer has the details.
- Fantastical, my favorite third party iOS calendar app, got a pretty sweet update this week adding support for event drafts. Download here and as always Macstories has a pretty great writeup about the update.
- IFTTT added a Spotify channel this week which gives you new triggers and actions including saving tracks and adding playlists. Connect your accounts on the channel here.
- Apple debuted some new Apple Watch videos/commercials highlighting third-party apps in the fitness, music and travel categories. Check them all out on the Apple YouTube channel.
